Busy

It's not that I've been a slacker lately. I've been incredibly busy. I don't really know who I'm justifying my lack of blogging to. As we only have one reader. What up Copes?

What has kept me so busy? I'm glad you asked Copes. I've been spending all this time trying to accomplish what we set out to do in starting this blog - grow up. So, my hours have mainly been spent trying to find a suitable home for my family. A task that has been largely unsuccessful to this point (which is another entry). But, to prove to you that some progress has been made, I am ending this entry with a positive "flight suit" moment. I leave you with goal #2 - Mission Accomplished.

****Spoiler Alert

We went for Mel's second trimester ultrasound last week. Beyond all the tests they took, we were able to find out that we are having a girl. Mel screamed with joy. Which I guess it isn't much of a surprise. As she hasn't really hid the fact that she wanted a girl. She's pretty much done everything short of buying pink clothes. I on the other hand stand by my politically correct cliche response -"I just hope he or she is healthy". Now that we know - the name battle begins.

Mama went out of town this past weekend. So, I did exactly what any man would do on a night apart from his pregnant wife. I ordered sushi and watched Transformers.
